Oh, really gettin' it?

While buying my local paper, I noticed the latest Sun (dated 30 April 2002 - the weekly tabloid, not one of the many dailies with similar names) available on the newsstand. The headlines announced that Armageddon has started. (A few years later than the End of Times folks expected, but I'm sure they'll manage to find a passage in Revelations that makes it fit their world view.)

Unwilling to actually spend money to get the story behind the headline, I am unable to advise you what this astonishing claim is based on. I guess I'll just have to wait until the more reputable press reports on the story.

In the meantime, I'm listening to old Def Leppard CDs.

*What does this have to do with anything? Occasionally, I publish meditations for the far-too-easily-amused - - such as myself.

And for those who think that mentioning Def Leppard is just a backhanded way to get this site to pop up more often in web searches; if that was my intention, I would have also found a way to work in a reference to Metallica.
