This study of the age of the world is a long, decades of fascinating research and accomplishment. It began one day during a High School Bible study classes with Mr. Henderson, the Bible study teacher. He mentioned that the age of the world was about 6000 years old. I asked many questions that day but was unable to figure out how to accomplish a study into the age of the world with the Bible, to verify his number. So for the next 12 – 15 years I kept on planning how to proceed with this study. Well, thanks to the advancement in electronic Bibles and computers, I was, finally able to made some progress in 1994.
In this study, I have tried to reconcile the disparity between the millions and thousands years dilemma. And so I have determined that either could be right but I am more adamant that the thousands years theory, is more practical. I have unearthed some to the most profound mysteries that plague modern man to comprehend. The researcher has taken the Bible literally and believes the data provided is reliable, valid and dependable. He has used the ages of individuals forming an unabridged continuity. He has subtracted a year from each succeeding individual’s age added. Nevertheless, in this work, I shall detail the study, coin another nomenclature for the interceding era, reconcile the ages, discuss the creation of man and his devolution, the latest created world, the flood, the 2300 day/year prophecy of Daniel and the brotherhood of man. This is an amazing discovery for me to share with the world. I did copyright this study in 1994.THE AGE STUDY
ANOTHER ERA’S NOMENCLATURE
Various names have been given to special eras in history. Among them are BC-Before Christ. AD-In The Year Of Our Lord. CE Common Era. Form this study I have concocted another that reflects the whole period of know history. It will encompass the time from creation to present time. It is coined to reflect this time period; it is AC-After The Creation or Annus Creatio. This year 2006 can be referenced as 6,252AC.
AGES RECONCILEDThis age of the world has always been a controversial issue. Modern man with new technologies has determined that the age of the world is over millions of years old. As previously mentioned I have determined from a study of the Bible that the age is 6,252 years old. I can explain both of these but I still prefer the lower age.The scientists have used carbon 142 and uranium 238 – uranium 2343 dating methods to arrive at their higher numbers. I will be the first to say that there could be a larger age that the 6,252 years. Nonetheless, I am talking about when the world became organized. It depends on how you interpret the creation story of Chapter one of Genesis. In Genesis 1:1&2, one gets the impression that there were two creations in relationship to this earth. And yes there were several creations Each of the inhabited planets was created individually but meaning that Earth might have been created some earlier time. My question would be that why would God; create a distant lonely Earth so far away from the other created Worlds? I would interpret it meaning on the first day he created the planet Earth and then proceeded with organizing it. Now if the various scientific methods used to calculate the age of the world are reliable and valid them perhaps they can try to establish how long earth had lain dormant, chaotic before being cosmotized. However, if they are trying to say that man is as old; then I would point them to how evil humans have become in the last fifty years. We would have terminated ourselves long time ago if we were that old. CREATION OF MAN AND HIS DEVOLUTIONMan was created by a loving God for a specific purpose, here on earth not in his own images. After Lucifer and his fellow angels had singed, God’s original plan was initiated; to replace them with perfected man. That is why He created man a little lower than the Angels Hebrews 2: 6&74 All in all, man was created for a specific noble career and due to his failure he had been relegated to earth where Satan represented him in one of God’s Councils in Heaven.When God said that he created man in his own image what did he mean? Did he use these same words before he created the other worlds? This researcher believes that what we consider his image today was not the original concept. Actually, God is a Spirit and man was not created spirit. Also God is omnipotent, omniscient, omnipresent and man was not in his lower that the angels pronouncement. So I submit that God meant that he was making or has made man according to his blue print for him. God’s original plan for creating this world was to replace Satan and his cohorts. Due to this fact Satan mustered up all his power and influence and tried his final push, pushing Adam and Eve over to his side. Maybe He tried with the first parents of other worlds and found out that when they are together they are sort of invincible. So he distracted Eve or Adam with some important but not expedient task just to separate them. Even like women today need men to interpret certain communications or men need them too. So he succeeded in his Coup de Gras by speaking to her curiosity and beyond her experiences. He figured that since he succeeded in defeating God’s plan for this world that he won a significant battle. He found him self in heaven and challenged God in regards to Job, during one of His Councils. Claiming his rightful title Representative of Earth. However, when he crucified Jesus, his visits to heaven were immediately stopped. The whole Universe saw how brutal and evil He really is. And so his next engagement with heaven is his judgment. THE LATEST CREATED WORLDGod’s business will go on as planned; we may set His plans back a little but he will even make the stone to represent His great, noble plan on earth. God, I believe went ahead and created another world that must have succeeded in defeating Satan. After they proved themselves loyal to Jesus, they were allowed to eat of the tree of life; were transformed into immortal beings and then angels. I believe that the full compliment of Angels are already working in God’s great salvation plan. And so as planned God will execute Satan, His Angels and human beings who have decided to follow his losing plan.And so somewhere in the Universe God had place a new world with humans, sun, moon, stars, fish, birds, trees and they remained faithful to Him. They passed Satan’s temptations, and over time were able to eat of the tree of life. They too were created a little lower that the Angels but overcame Satan with the help of the Heavenly Government. And so their world must become empty after their numbers swelled and reached that of Satan and His fellow Angels. And so the first day that they were entitled to eat of the tree of life the whole un-fallen universe shouted for joy that righteousness has won over wickedness. THE DELUGEBy this time this earth’s population had grown mightily. Imagine the trillions of humans, animals and trees. I say trillions because the bodies of man and beast have formed the oil we now reap. The trees are harvested as coals. There must have been a population that one cannot imagine. Now man was created a little lower that the angels in all respects.Imagine men and women as giants. Would they have been about 17 – 20 feet tall and well proportioned? Yet they would still be smaller that the angels. Can you imagine an evil Angel specializing in crack, prostitution, murders, alcoholism or cocaine addiction holding down some poor, frail mortal physically? All he tries to free himself is just in vain. Just like the demonic in the cemetery, only Jesus can free us from the grasps of Satan. No wonder positive, self talk and other self-help methods cannot free trapped mortals from Satan’s grasp. Only Jesus can free us and keep us free from Satan’s wiles. Albeit by the time of the Flood, humans had declined from living to near a thousand years to five hundred. All their years were spend in untold evil works. You think cloning is new, ask Noah about the Antediluvians. They mixed different plant, animals, themselves and trees until they developed thorns, thistles, poisons, pollen and foul smelling ones and other variations to God’s image. For in the beginning God said about his creation it was all good for food, no harms whatsoever Genesis 1:11&125 And so beginning with Cain humans have all been doing their own thing to their detriment. Cain after he killed Abel moved to another region with his family. You see in those days children were born in pairs. A man and woman children were born together. Their genetic codes were unique; unlike today if you marry a close relative you will have genetic problems. Now Cain and his ‘sister and perhaps other evil people like himself moved away. Later we come across them again though changed. Cain’s descendants under the study of Satan decided to have sex with non-humans producing exotic races. For example, when the two civilizations met it was determined that they had already began to look different. They were no longer giants but beginning to be dwarfs. They looked so different it is recorded that God children descendants of Adam’s other Children met those of Cain they were perplexed6 However, their wicked deeds were so disturbing that God decided to changed things. We all know the story of Noah and the Ark. Into the Art God directed only those animals that he had created. And so the Dinosaurs and other animals that he had not created but that were become a menace to the new dwarfed peoples cause God to destroy antediluvia. Sadly after the Flood man continued the beastly acts. 2300 DAYS/YEARS PROPHECYThis prophecy has given scholars, laymen and other beans over the years. From it we have pre and post tribulationists and others. However, if you take a prayerful moment to follow it;; one will always get the same understanding. I shall try to shed some light on this prophecy. Daniel 8:14 onwards detail this wonderful prognostication.In Daniel's vision there are several numbers given. One time he uses 2300 days. Then he talked about 70 weeks, 69 weeks, 1 week and midst of the week. They make lots of sense with patient perseverance. Quickly, the 2300 days is divided up into 79 weeks or 490 days and the rest of 1810 days. Are these literal or prophetic days. Prophetic days depict a calendar year. What is this prophecy talking about in Daniels explanation?. Daniel 9: 247 Let us use the literal day sequence and see if it makes sense. Daniel revealed several experience for the 70 weeks of the prophecy. He mentioned 79 weeks or 490 day were to finish the transgression, made an end of sins and reconcile for iniquity, bring in everlasting righteousness, seal up the vision and prophecy and to anoint the most Holy. This time was to start from the command to restore and rebuild Jerusalem unto the Messiah the Prince should take 69 weeks or 483 days. Daniel 9:258 Then after 62 weeks or 434 days the Messiah would be crucified. The people of the prince shall come and destroy the city and the sanctuary, flood and a war of desolation. Daniel 9:269 After that he shall make a covenant with many for one week. In the midst of this week he shall end the sacrifice and oblation. This is Daniel 9:2710 Now there are several things we know about this prophecy that will show that the liter day is inadequate to explain it. We know that Daniel was in captivity in Babylon around the time the Medes and Persians who had over thrown Babylon. Cyrus and Darius were rulers and subsequently Artaxerxes I. And it talked about the Messiah being crucified and Jerusalem would be destroyed with the temple. These events span hundreds of years. Now let us try another method. Scripture has given another way to interpret days in prophecies. Now not every day in scripture is given this special treatment. It seems as though Moses was given this interpretation to punish Israel for their backsliding11. If we use this principle we may make progress with understanding this prophecy. Now instead of 490 days we say years. So that from the command to restore and rebuild Jerusalem to the Messiah would be 490 years. There was more than one command to rebuild and restore Jerusalem we shall reason deductively to find the correct one12. Since we know that the end of 483 years would bring us to the Messiah and since Messiah was proclaimed in AD 27 at his baptism, then we do not counting the zero between AD and; it would take us back to 457 BC. This is the year that Artaxerxes I13 give the command to Ezra14 to return, rebuilt the wall and the Temple at Jerusalem. And the one-week or seven years were left. The prophecy says that in the midst or about three and a half years after his Messiahship He would be crucified. That happened in AD 30.5. Now after Stephen was stoned that sealed up Israel faith. In short, instead of Israel being God’s only People, the Gospel went to the Gentiles and Paul was the Apostle to them. So that whether we are Jews or Gentiles we have a place in Jesus’ heart and Kingdom However, in the Age of the World count down needs the remaining time of this prophecy. The other 1810 years would start at AD 34. Thus we would come to the year 1844. This is an important date. Daniel said that the Sanctuary would be cleansed. In America there were some Bible student who studied this prophecy and postulated that Jesus was coming back to this earth to cleanse it. And so they calculated a day and prepared for the return. He sang, dressed in their best garbs waiting for the Lord. They were sorely disappointed that Jesus did not return that day. However some continued to study to find out where they erred. And so one day as William Miller was walking across his field he heard a sound and looked up to heaven and in vision saw Jesus leaving the Holy Place and went into the Most Holy Place. Not that such a places exist in Heaven but from the earthly sanctuary he was illustrating that the cleansing of the sanctuary was typified of Judgment. This is similar to Yom Kippur15 And so since 1844 this world has gone into another phase of Christ Ministry. That was the beginning of the time of the end. The end of this period with be ushered in with the pronouncement by Jesus that it is finished16 over 160 years have elapsed, a long day of atonement. Jesus is waiting on the Saints to finish the Gospel Commission17. He would not have to use stones because he will make a short cut to his return18 THE BROTHERHOOD OF MANAll races are related; we are all brothers, sons of God. All individuals are descendants of Adam. This great patriarch created by God and commissioned to reproduce and fill the earth with children. So we could not have come her but by descending from Adam. Then through Noah. Again we could not have been her but because of Noah and his descendants. The is the Message that we are all family.Recently, I called a White Lady cousin. She looked sort of puzzled that we are family. I reminded her that we are related first through Adam and then through Noah. If this message is known and believed there should be a corresponding reduction in racism, racial hatred and violence. I look at all me as brother and sister. HOW ARE WE DOING?Well I tried to share my study with you. I am sure there are aspects of it that you may not agree with. We can agree to disagree, remembering that it took me over thirty years to finalize this study. I know that you are smart but give yourself some time to contemplate this work. Even when you still disagree, all I would say is thanks for your interest, time and good will.
