On Time and Space

You are absolutely right on this point. But, as Stephen W. Hawking wrote in A Brief History of Time:
It is often helpful to think of the four co-ordinates of an event as specifying its position in a four-dimensional space called space-time. It is impossible to imagine a four dimensional space. I personally find it hard enough to visualize three-dimensional space!
Given that, I think it's probably easier for most people if I keep the concepts of time and space separate when I write about them.
